Time for another edition of Friday is for Favorites, my weekly series where I become a rebel, and break all of my own rules of design cohesiveness to which I normally adhere on the Bubby and Bean blog.  No themes, trend collections, or matching aesthetics here.  Just a random collection of things I happen to be loving on this very Friday.

1. Unbelievable photograph by Samuel Bradley.
2. Pretty-much-perfect trench jacket & bag.
3. Freaking awesome bicycle poster.
4. Most refreshing photo ever.
5. Gorgeously bold + colorful room.
6. The magical miracle Bubby dog.*
*13 weeks ago, my best friend was diagnosed with doggy cancer
with an absolute maximum of 6 weeks to survive.  Apparently
he's just too busy ripping apart toys, rolling in the grass,
and begging for people food to be bothered with such things.

Do you have anything fun planned for the weekend?  This is the first weekend I have Robbie home in about a month and a half (woohoo!), and I'm super excited to go on one of our estate sale marathon adventures tomorrow.  The rest of the time, I'll be working on making our wedding invitations!  Have any of you made your own?  Talk about a project.  Wow.  I'll be sure to share them once they're all done and have been sent.

See you tomorrow morning for this week's edition of Saturday Morning Daydreams...

I was a guest blogger at the amazing Curious Pug yesterday!  The post features my very favorite summer dresses, so if you have a minute, head over there and take a peek.

  1. Aww, yay Bubby for being so busy acting like a big puppy that he's feeling pretty good!
I'm going to get my estate sale rampage on tomorrow too! They have this great little app on the android marketplace that locates garage/estate sales in your area!
PS - LOVE the khaki trench coat!

  2. Yay for having boys home! I hope you have a wonderful weekend. I am so happy about your magic dog...he showed them didn't he!

    ♥, A

  3. Yes that top photo is amazing!! I love everything here, so inspiring :-).

Go Bubby go!! I've been wondering since there hasn't been an update in a while. Such great news :-)

  4. i always forget it's rebel fridays & try to guess what all the things have in common. i was thinking ripples, but then the trench & bag photo threw that notion away. love & kisses to bubby leary dog. mwah, mwah

  5. without fail, your favorites are always my favorites. Especially the last favorite (it even made me tear up!) So glad Bubby is proving the vets wrong :)

  6. I love all the images you picked! That bike poster and the first photograph especially--amazing. Good luck with the wedding invitations! I know that it must be a ton of work, but you probably wouldn't want to do it any other way, right? And Bubby <3

  7. Your friday favorites are always like you hand-picked favorites for me! I love everything here.

  8. Good job, Bubby! He can beat this! I'm glad he has a spring in his step!

Lovely Friday Faves! That trench coat is so beautiful :) And I am with you on that pool issue- that would be so splendid right about now. I hope some cool breezes blow your way soon :) Hope you and Bubby have a fun weekend!

  9. Hooray for Bubby -- and I LOVE that jacket (not for me, for my cute and slender twenty-something daughter)!

  10. Love your pictures! I'm in the Chicago area too and that girl in the pool has been me this past week. Well, minus the bikini and with a few more fat cells!

I would still rather have the heat than that snow storm we had last winter!

  11. awww yay for bubby!! i was just thinking of you the other day and wondering how he was doing. i'm glad to hear he's defying the odds :)

  12. Thanks for the comments everyone, especially about my sweet Bubby dog. :) I hope your weekends are ahhhhmazing.
