Saturday Morning Daydreams

I've got a thing for striped linen napkins and striped tea towels.  Table runners too.

Jeffrey Campbell El Carmen
I'm not sure how often I'd wear this particular pair of shoes, but they're by the amazing Jeffrey Campbell, so I'll take 'em.  (In fact, I'd take pretty much any of the shoes in REVOLVEClothing.com's shoe department. Hi Marc by Marc Jacobs, I love you too!).

watermelon stars
Watermelon stars?  I am so doing this

patriotic paper straws
Yes, I'm a little obsessed with paper straws lately.  I'm discovering that you get obsessed with all kinds of random things when you're planning a wedding.

Chanel stars and stripes
This is officially the prettiest patriotic outfit I've ever seen.  You go, Chanel.

stars and stripes pie
I'm not much of a baker, but I'd attempt to make this pie for the cuteness factor alone.

stars and stripes nails
I have to try this nail tutorial.  I'm all about the white polish. Plus, there's tiny stars.  Everyone loves tiny stars.

This a-dor-able banner is made from paint chips!  And look, there's even a tutorial so you can make your very own.

I know, I know.  It's slightly cheesy, but I couldn't resist.  It is Fourth of July weekend here in the states after all, so it only makes sense that on this particular Saturday morning, my daydreams are filled with stars and stripes.  I hope these pretty, patriotic images bring some inspiration to your weekend too.

What are your plans for the holiday?  Outdoors gatherings?  Fireworks and sparklers?  Lemonade cocktails and yummy food on the grill?  This is the first Fourth of July where I'm not able to join Robbie and the band to celebrate (he's off in Colorado playing Red Rocks Amphitheater), but a couple of friends are joining me for my mom's annual party.  She's a design nerd too and this is the first year I'll be able to attend, so I'm looking forward to see what she's dreamed up for decor.
