Leap Year Giveaway WINNER // + Baby Shower Preview!

Thank you to everyone who entered our special Leap Year Giveaway!  It was fun to read through your entries and see how you guys planned to spend your "extra day."  The winner was chosen via random.org, and that lucky Bubby and Bean reader is...

CONGRATULATIONS Leslie R!  You have officially won a package of some seriously wonderful prizes from Keeping It Indie, Scathingly Brilliant, Mountains of the Moon, and Bubby and Bean Art!  (Please contact me at bubbyandbean {at} gmail.com so we can discuss getting you your prizes!)

Thanks again to our awesome February sponsors for contributing to this giveaway!  And if you didn't win this time, don't worry - this month's giveaway is equally as amazing.  Promise.

It's a new week!  How was your weekend?  I spent mine designing the decor for (and attending!) a dear friend's baby shower.  Since the mama-to-be is a huge music fan, we went with a rockstar theme.  It was really cute and fun, full of quiche and pink champagne and cupcakes and onesie-making.  I'll share some more photos and details this week, with some DIY tips included.  I also tried to get in lots of hang time over the weekend with the husband, who heads back out on the road tomorrow for the second leg of the band's winter tour.  It's been soooo nice to have him home for a couple weeks (for the first time in 2012!), but I am a sad panda to have to say goodbye again for a month.  I may just have to take little impromptu trip to join him for a day or two.  San Francisco is always nice this time of year... Hmmmm...
