Time for this month's 'life lately' update, via good ol' cell phone pictures. As always, I'm wondering as I type this whether or not I should really be subjecting my readers to random snapshots from my boring day-to-day. I know you guys always (graciously) tell me you enjoy these posts. And admittedly, I always publish them. Yet here I am, feeling hesitant again. Maybe it's because things have been extra uneventful over the past few weeks in terms of any out-of-the-ordinary fun. June is the first month I haven't traveled at all the entire year, and although I've spent every possible chance I've had outside in the summer sun, I've mostly been working. I do have a tentative road trip scheduled for this weekend down to Indianapolis (Morgan and I have been planning some fun blog stuff involving f-o-o-d), and Robbie and I are talking about a longer road trip out west in about a month when the band has a break from touring. Other than that, things have been quite slow. It's actually been nice to be local for a few, especially with my grandma being in the hospital. (Thank you all so much for your kind words about that from last Friday's post, by the way. She hasn't improved much, but good vibes go a long way!) I would be lying though if I said I wasn't ready for a little good old-fashioned summertime excitement. Stay tuned!
