Winning My Morning // My Busy Breakfast Solution

Win Your Morning with belVita Breakfast Biscuits
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of belVita. All opinions are 100% mine.

Now that I am officially a mom of a toddler and a newborn (wait, what?), I've found that making myself breakfast everyday has fallen to the bottom of my priority list. I know it's important, but the thought of creating (and then eating) a full meal for myself first thing in the morning when I'm completely sleep deprived and being pulled in a million directions just hasn't been appealing. Lucky for me, I was shopping at my local Meijer the other day and discovered a solution to my recent breakfast challenge - a super delicious, nutritious breakfast biscuit called belVita.

You guys know that product or food reviews around here are few and far between. But when I discover something that I genuinely love, I want to share it with you guys. And I officially love belVita Breakfast Biscuits. Not only do they provide 4 hours of nutritious, steady energy in quality, energy-packed carbohydrates, but they're also really, really good. They're a great source of whole grain too, which is a biggie for me. I like to eat them with a banana or an orange and some yogurt, which makes them part of a complete breakfast that I can whip together in less than a minute. Oh and this morning, I topped the crunchy Blueberry variety with organic peanut butter and banana slices, and I am smitten. Essley is a big fan too. (My other favorite varieties are the crunchy Cinnamon Brown Sugar and soft baked Cinnamon. So good.) I also love that I can pop a couple packages of belVita Breakfast Biscuits into my purse or diaper bag for an easy, instant snack later in the day.

You can purchase belVita at your local Meijer store (see this list for locations) in the cookie and cracker aisle. And on January 23rd from 8 AM to 2 PM, belVita is having a sampling event for shoppers to try some of their many varieties. Go give them a try - you'll be glad you did. Promise. #MeijerMorningWin

During a time when things are admittedly a little out of control (hello newborn and two year old), belVita Morning Win makes me feel like I'm taking charge of my breakfasts. How do you guys create quick, easy breakfasts for yourselves on busy mornings? Do you have any tips on ways to get the breakfast nutrition you need without taking the time to cook a full meal?

  3. I have the luxury of being able to sit down for breakfast every morning - my husband, on the other hand, works all kinds of different shifts and has been for years; often he wakes up hours before I do, or worse, comes in from work just as I'm getting up to start my day. He's been relying on belVita for years now; we stock up at the grocery store practically every week. I've never really enjoyed them - but then I've also never thought of topping them with peanut butter and bananas, which are my favourite combination ever, so now I'm going to have to experiment :)

  5. I love the Belvita mini's in chocolate for an afternoon snack between jobs. They take on the chocolate craving and give lots of fiber so they are filling. Belvita is a pretty awesome product.
