Hi.

I'm just stopping in for a quick post today to say hi. Those of you who read here often have probably noticed that we're slowly easing back into a more regular schedule again (both here on the blog and on our social media accounts). The last couple of months have been really chaotic with Emmett's epilepsy diagnosis and treatment, and while we have no idea what even the near future holds while he finishes up his medication wean and we await more test results, at least for right now, things have slowed down a little. Getting back to "normal," even with the knowledge that it could be temporary, feels pretty great. I've been working more, we've been getting out and doing things with the kids, and plans are being made for some fun adventures over the next couple of months. Essley has been loving preschool and ballet lessons. Emmett has been having fun eating his first finger foods and trying his hardest to crawl. Robbie's and my five year wedding anniversary is Saturday and we'll be going on our first date alone since before Emmett's diagnosis. Normal feels like a wonderful luxury, and we feel happy. I hope all of you are feeling happy too.
