Lower-Carb Hazelnut Spread and Berry Crepes


Low carb Nutella crepes

My husband and I made a real effort to decrease our carb consumption last year while still allowing ourselves to indulge in foods we loved. I shared one of our favorites - a lower carb version of Nutella crepes - on Instagram and recently realized I never shared it here. This is a morning favorite with my kids too, and can also make for a killer dessert. 


Lower-Carb Hazelnut Spread and Berry Crepes
(serves 4)

INGREDIENTS
4 egglife original egg white wraps (our favorite tortilla replacement!)
1/2 cup hazelnut spread
1 cup mixed berries (sliced strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
powdered sugar

Heat a skillet to medium/high. Warm each egglife egg white wrap for 15-30 seconds per side. Spread 2 tablespoons of hazelnut spread over each wrap. Add strawberry slices. Fold into triangles. Top with mixed berries and powdered sugar.


Just typing out the recipe is making me drool. Definitely making these tomorrow morning. Enjoy
