Links I Love, Right Now

It's Friday, spring officially arrives in 9 short days, and Daylight Savings Time begins Sunday morning (yay for lighter evenings!). These are all pretty fantastic things in my book. I don't know about you guys, but I'm in a great mood.

Between our flight back from vacation this past weekend and Emmett's continued middle-of-night nursing sessions, I've had plenty of time to browse the internet and stumble upon randomly cool things, so today seemed like the perfect time for another Links I Love post. I hope you guys enjoy these fun findings, and your weekend as well.

Someday when I'm completely over the whole urban/suburban lifestyle, I am totally moving back to the woods, preferable into a home just like this one.

I got to visit one of my favorite Free People stores when I was in Scottsdale last week (and buy these sunglasses in Flamingo, as well as this majorly marked down top), which then led me to spend way too much time on their website, which then led to me falling in love with this, this, and this (shown in top image).

Awww. This Seoul-based illustrator took to drawing these little moments of love with his wife. So sweet.

A fellow member of an online creative group for women I'm involved with wrote this incredible piece on the mental cost of owning your own business that needs to be talked about.

I hear so many people say they often purchase packaged foods rather than fresh fruits and veggies because they're cheaper. According to this article, that isn't the case at all.

Essley is basically obsessed with her IKEA play kitchen, but it would have been fun to create one for her out of cardboard like this DIY toddler kitchen. So cute.

This is a few weeks old, but in case you haven't seen it, someone replaced Donald Trump's eyes with his mouth and he looks exactly the same. Baaaahahahahaha. Brilliant.

Those of you who know me in real life know that I would eat tacos for pretty much every meal forever and ever, so clearly I need this necklace and these earrings immediately.

I really enjoyed reading this piece on how to be the greatest antagonist of your own happiness.

This video of 500 years of female beauty in art gave me all the feels.

I need to make time to do this beautiful DIY botanical easter egg project.

These sandals though.

Have you come across any especially great links this week? What are your plans for the weekend? Robbie is back on tour with the band, but my sister is coming up from Indianapolis to visit later today and I can't wait. She was in the hospital with us during my labor and Emmett's birth, but she had to leave the next day so it's been over two months since she's gotten to hang with the kids, and I think Essley may be even more excited than I am. Whatever your plans, enjoy your weekend (and the rest of your Friday too!).

  1. That house in the woods is awesome and I love all the free people stuff! Happy weekend, have so much fun with your sis. I'm doing some spring clothes shopping and have dinner plans tomorrow.

  2. That article about packaged foods is fascinating. Since we've been mid-move we have sadly been forced to do less cooking and more, well, heating for lack of a better word. Not only is it less nutritious and satisfying, but I can speak from experience when I say it is definitely not less expensive! It may save some time but man... the cost is not justified. Also - yay for daylight savings time! I seriously need more hours of light.

  3. I get so frustrated when people say they don't have enough time or money to eat well! It's nice to see an article showing how inexpensive fresh fruits and veg can be - I'll have to send the link to some people I know!
