In case other readers are from Quebec! <br /><br />Re: advice: so much advice is specific to the child. My baby would wake up in 20 minutes if she wasn't touching someone, up until she was 9 months old (cosleeping was default, for survival reasons). My niece would wake up if she was touching someone, starting when she was 3 weeks old. "The baby sleeps better on her own" vs "the baby sleeps better if you cosleep" are both absolutely true statements... for different babies.
