Almond Butter Maple Oatmeal

If you’re looking for an easy healthy breakfast for busy mornings, this almond butter oatmeal is simple, cozy, and incredibly satisfying. Made with creamy almond butter, cinnamon, maple syrup, and fresh fruit, it’s a wholesome breakfast that comes together in minutes and keeps everyone full until lunch. My kids love it, and it’s even become a favorite breakfast-for-dinner option in our house.


Easy Almond Butter Oatmeal Recipe
Serves 4


INGREDIENTS
2 tablespoons almond butter
3 cups water
1 cup quick Irish oatmeal
2-3 tablespoons real maple syrup
2 teaspoons cinnamon
sliced bananas and strawberries, for topping

Prepare the oatmeal according to the package directions. For quick Irish oatmeal (our favorite), bring 4 cups of water to a boil, stir in 1 cup of oats, and simmer for 5–7 minutes.

Once the oatmeal is cooked, stir in the almond butter until creamy and fully combined. Add the maple syrup and cinnamon, mixing well.

Divide the oatmeal into bowls and top with extra almond butter, a drizzle of maple syrup, sliced bananas, strawberries, and an extra sprinkle of cinnamon.


This makes a great breakfast-for-dinner option too. Enjoy!
