Every year (for many years now), I've posted here on Valentine's Day about how I understand that this holiday isn't for everyone. When Valentine's Day is viewed as being about relationships or romance, it has the potential to really make people feel excluded. But I don't look at it that way. I see it as a day to celebrate kindness, friendship, compassion, generosity, and love. And honestly, our country and world needs love right now. Like more than ever.
We don't know most of you personally, but we do love you. We care. And we hope you have a wonderful day full of kindness and all the things you enjoy, regardless of whether or not you celebrate.
