Red, White, and Blue Sweet Salsa with Cinnamon Chips

Fourth of July Sweet Salsa + Chips

I first shared this recipe back in 2017, but I decided to revive it for 4th of July this year with a couple of revisions. We love chips and salsa in our house, and this is a super unique version that is perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth. We're so excited to be spending the fourth with my sister down in Indianapolis again this year (we went two year ago as well, but not in 2020, because, well, it was 2020) and I can't wait to make this at her house.

Serves 6-8

INGREDIENTS
1 jar pineapple or salsa (mango salsa works too)
1-1/2 cups blueberries
1-1/2 cups strawberries, sliced
3/4 cup white sweet corn
1 bag white corn tortilla chips
2 limes
2-3 T sugar
2 T cinnamon

In a medium bowl, combine the salsa, blueberries, sliced strawberries, and white corn. Stir until well blended. In a small bowl, mix cinnamon and sugar. Pour chips into a large serving bowl, and squeeze lime juice on chips. Mix well until evenly coated. Sprinkle chops with cinnamon and sugar mixture and mix again. Serve!

Red, White, and Blue Sweet Salsa + Chips

This is such a quick and easy recipe, but always a big hit. If you're here in the states, we hope you have a fun-filled Fourth of July weekend!
