Rainy Days

It's a rainy day in Chicago, and although I'm usually not fond of gray skies, this makes me happy because it feels like spring is very near.

It's supposed to snow tomorrow (snow should be illegal in March!), but for now I'm going to pretend we're in the midst of April showers and focus on these lovely spring-y, rainy photos I found on Pinterest (If you haven't checked out Pinterest yet, you really should.  I'll warn you though; it can be addictive).

I have some wonderful posts planned for the next week, including a fantastic DIY project and a beautiful jewelry giveaway! And make sure to stop back in tomorrow for my regular weekend inspiration series, Saturday Morning Daydreams.

Happy Friday!

  1. What pretty inspiration for a gloomy day!

P.S. Yay can't wait for Sat Morning DayDreams, it's my favorite post of the week! (:

    (: Jess

  2. Love the colorful umbrellas in the second picture! It looks like spring.

  3. This is such a lovely collection of rainy-day images! And I just checked out Pinterest, WOW! How do you get an invite to join?

  4. I love spring rain! It's so refreshing after a winter of icy rain :) My favorite part of spring is seeing everything turn green again.
P.S. I love these photos :) Especially the one with all of the colorful umbrellas lined up!

  5. The photos are so pretty and inspirational! I hope the weather has cleared up on your side of the country!

  6. snow IS illegal in March. i'll alert the weather police immediately so they can send in a special S.W.A.T. team. somehow you found beauty in the rain though, thanks for the inspiration!

  7. I just joined Pinterest and I looove it! You're totally right, super addictive. Great photos, it's a warm(ish), rainy and foggy day here, so it's the perfect post for my day.

  8. Isn't Pinterest amazing???
