Help Us Compose Our Wedding Playlist!

Robbie and I decided that we're going to go with the good old-fashioned iPod for our wedding reception dance party.  We're putting together a playlist of some of our favorite songs, but we want to make sure there's a little something for everyone.  Here's where you come in!  We don't want anything too traditional or stereotypically "wedding," but we're pretty open.  We want a nice eclectic mix of slower/meaningful songs and songs that make you get your groove on.  Oh, and we already have our ceremony and first dance songs picked out.  But that's a surprise. :)

Below is a sample list of some of the songs we're including.  We'd love it if you could leave a comment with your suggestions and favorites!  After the wedding, I'll post the full play list so you can see if your song(s) made it!

Home - Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros
1234 - Feist
Shelter From the Storm - Bob Dylan
Listomania - Phoenix
You and I - Wilco
Stay Forever - Ween
If I Had the World to Give - Grateful Dead
Safety Dance - Men Without Hats
Crazy - Patsy Cline
Once In a Lifetime - Talking Heads
Read My Mind - The Killers
Rock With You - Michael Jackson
Such Great Heights - The Postal Service
Ring of Fire - Johnny Cash
Tighten Up - The Black Keys
Think About You - Guns N' Roses
With a Little Help From My Friends - The Beatles
Bonafide Lovin' - Chromeo
Someday - The Strokes
Harvest Moon - Neil Young

Thanks for your help friends!

  2. Oh man...I was going to put Harvest Moon but its already there. I always thought that would make an awesome wedding dance song...but since we hired a bluegrass band when I got married...it was nixed. Man...now I will have to think about it and choose something else.
