Photo Shoot >> The Wedding Party

wedding party photo shoot

These are some of my favorite shots from our wedding party photo sessions before and after our wedding ceremony.  Robbie and I had so much fun with our bridesmaids, groomsmen, and ushers getting our pictures taken in the fields and community urban gardens outside of the venue.

It ended up being unseasonably cold on our wedding day (we all had goosebumps!), but our photographer, Amy of Bliss Studio, was so creative and made sure we were all having a good time.  I think anyone who passed by probably thought we were being borderline obnoxious, but we loved it.  There's a reason we love all of these people so much - they know how to have fun!

I've been really loving seeing the story of our wedding through photos.  The day went by so quickly that I only vaguely remember it, and seeing the events of the day captured through images has been really wonderful. I can't wait to share detail shots of the decor, etc. when we get the rest of the images.

There are lots more wedding D.I.Y. projects that I plan to post all well.  Robbie's going to show you how he made our cake stands (which held doughnuts!) from vinyl records, and I'm going to share how I designed and put together our save-the-dates/invitations/programs/menu cards.  I also plan to post a tutorial for the fabric banner that hung above us during our ceremony, the washi tape drink stirrers that went in our mason jar glasses, and some other fun projects that you can use for your wedding, parties, or even around your house.  In the meantime, you can check out the honey jar favor tutorial that my sister Morgan posted here, see how we designed and made all of our own wedding flowers arrangements and bouquets here, read about how we made our own photo booth here, and see how I redesigned my mom's vintage wedding dress here.
