The Bubby and Bean 2011 Holiday Card Collection!

2011 holiday card collection

Hellooooo Friday!  It's been an insanely busy week around these parts.  My team and I have been working our fingers to the bone getting my clothing label Mountains of the Moon ready for the holidays.  We've been running around like crazy ladies, restocking shipping supplies, organizing inventory, and finishing our new eco-friendly hair accessory collection (which debuts next week!).  I've also spent this week wrapping up my second holiday card collection for Bubby and Bean Art. It was right around this time last year that I opened Bubby and Bean Art, and I designed just two holiday cards.  I had such an amazing time creating them, and remember being so thrilled with the awesome response that I almost couldn't wait to get going on 2011's batch.

When I'm designing clothing collections, I am very big on cohesiveness within each one.  But the art shop is my fun side-project (not my full time job like Mountains of the Moon), so I threw all rules out the window and designed whatever I felt like designing.  There is a quite the mix of styles: hand drawn and graphic art illustrations, typography, and some mid-century modern inspired geometric designs. Some of them I'm only offering as singles that I print, cut, score and fold myself.  Others are currently at the printer and will be packaged as boxed sets like last year.  I can't wait to get the rest of them photographed and in the shop. :)

What about you?  Did you have a busy week too?  Whether your week has been crazy or laid back, I hope your Friday is absolutely blissful.  I'll see you again a little later today for this week's edition of Friday is for Favorites.
