The 4th of July is just a couple of weeks away, and I can't wait.  It's one of my favorite days of the year.  There is just something about the combination of friends, music, sparklers, grilled food, cold beer, fireworks, and summertime weather that makes me feel happy and nostalgic.  Aside from Christmas, it's also the holiday that most motivates me to get crafty.  I'm always on the lookout this time of year for creative 4th of July themed DIY projects I can whip together for around our house and for parties we attend.  For this edition of 10 Great, I'm sharing some of my recent favorites.

Do you make any crafts or special foods to celebrate the holiday?  Or for those of you not in the states, do you have any favorite summer-themed DIY projects?
