I'm generally not much of a pink person, but I do find myself drawn to its paler shades. I'm especial fond of blush - the shade that is just a hint of pink away from being beige. It's almost a neutral, but with enough of a touch of color to make it elegant without being too sweet. I think it looks good on almost any skin tone, and unlike bolder pinks, it can be paired with a lot of other colors. The spring 2015 runways were full of pale pink too - from tiered chiffon dresses at Alexander McQueen to linen coats at Christian Dior. And with spring just a little over a month away (but who's counting), paying tribute to pale pink for this edition of Color Love seemed only fitting.

Who else is a pale pink fan? What colors are you looking most forward to for spring?

  3. I'm definitely not a pale pink type of person, but I might invest in one blush piece of clothing to layer with blacks and whites. It screams of spring to me! x

  4. My wardrobe is almost entirely black, white and grey these days... at least, the pieces of it that I actually wear... but the one colour I do occasionally gravitate towards is blush pink. I think it's all the years of ballet that have me convinced it's practically a neutral, even though it definitely isn't. But it's certainly pretty :)

  5. VERY cute outfit! I use to hate pink. I mean, absolutely hate it. But now it's not so bad. =0)

  9. I love this shade of pink. In fact, last Sunday I wore a knit shit and jacket of that shade with black pants.

  10. You know, I'm not really a pink person either but I've always loved this blush color. I REALLY like the ring and I think I'd get a lot of wear out of those ballet flats.

  11. I like the pale pink on my nails but otherwise, I'll stick with neon pink for clothes :)
