A Mystical, Magical Bridal Shoot

I've shared several photo shoots here over the years orchestrated by the very talented Kelsey Goodwin. She initially submitted a gorgeous warehouse shoot back in 2012, followed by this stunning winter shoot in 2013, this whimsically stunning shoot for a good cause last year, and most recently, a hauntingly beautiful shoot called From the Attic. Kelly now also works with a new sister studio called The Grove Photographers. I was thrilled when she sent over this incredible style shoot she arranged, and I'm equally thrilled to share some of my favorite images from it with you guys today.

I asked Kelsey to explain some of the details behind the shoot, and she told me that it came together as a collaborative effort with The Grove Photographers to come up with some uniquely beautiful bridal images in a natural setting.  They chose to photograph their model, who wore an absolutely lovely dress by Pure Magnolia, at Thetis Lake in Victoria BC Canada - an island known for featuring the world's largest deciduous rainforest. To add a mystical elements, they incorporated smoke grenades and oil lamps. The end result was a stunningly magical bridal shoot unlike one I've ever seen.

  1. Ooooh, the dress is amazing! I like that it's not overly frilly or detailed.
