Inspiration: Real Wedding Roundup

real wedding 1

My fiance leaves on Wednesday for a whole month (boo!) for his band's summer tour, so I'll be spending a lot of my free time getting wedding things in order while he's gone.  Although we have most of the ideas for our wedding already in place, I love looking at other real weddings to get me in the mood for planning and to motivate me to dive into all of the DIY projects I'm working on.  I thought I'd share some of my recent favorites with you.

  3. Have I said this before - you two make such a good-looking couple!

It must be lots of fun planning for the wedding. I am not much of a planner, so would not be good at this, but I never get bored of ideas people have for their weddings and it is always so pretty to admire : )

  8. Right now the modern twist on Americana/Old West is really popular at weddings. I'm pretty happy about that because it's beautiful and clever. The last wedding I was at had a model T ford and an old-fashioned candy stand. It was so awesome it made me want to plan a wedding. I hope you have fun!

  9. These are all so cute!! Exactly what weddings should be: sweet and personal and all about love...really the opposite of what's depicted on all those reality wedding tv shows. Every once in a while, I'll come across some horrible bridezilla thing and think, I wonder if other countries can see this program, and if so, I really hope they don't think that's what most Americans are like at weddings!! Anyway, you and Robbie are so cute and I can't wait to see what you come up with. :D

  13. oh, I love the s.pellegrino, I used a high ball pop top glass bottle for our father's day wildflower center piece this weekend. I love wedding inspiration eye candy, but since I'm already married I just gush and try to find other ways to use the clever ideas!

  14. I love all these photos. Looks like you're a fellow yellow fan (didn't mean to do that rhyming thing there). But really, loving all the yellow and the crafty touches.

  15. Certainly some great inspiration there! My problem is that there are too many great ideas out there and I can't narrow it down.
