Those of you who read here regularly are probably shaking your heads, because I do this post every. single. year. In my defense, I update it with new ideas each time. But even if I didn't, I'd still share it, because I am a complete sucker for simple, timeless Halloween costumes.

Over the past couple of years, my kids have started to choose costumes that are store bought, modern characters (and usually super low quality, but hey, they want what they want), but I will always appreciate the years that they enjoyed more old-fashioned costumes. This year, my daughter actually requested to be a witch (which was thrilling for me) for school. My son wants to be Spider-Man. But on Halloween, we're doing our first ever family costume (I still can't believe my husband agreed to it), and my classic costume loving heart is full, man.
